Flyers - Mathletics & Bridge Building Competition

		Math Competition 2006 Grades 5 and 6 Saturday 28^th January, 2006 12:00pm to 5pm Scarborough Civic Centre Scientific calculators will be awarded as prizes to each member of the three best teams.
Mathletics 2006 is an enrichment competition designed to challenge students in the subject of mathematics in order to promote school mathematics achievements through everyday engineering principles.		Students will be engaged in collaborative activities that will enable them to understand the importance of teamwork. Mathletics 2006 is a test of math and problem solving skills under time constraints.

Do you want to design new computers, cars, appliances, airplanes, rockets, space shuttles, buildings or chemicals?

Math is a skill needed to accomplish your dreams.

With hard work and mathematics you could become the Einstein of this millennium.
