Liane Harris of ECS2 Group Inc. (www.machinehealthcare.com) delivered an introductory presentation on minimally-invasive ways to evaluate the condition of industrial equipment.
Her focus was on the financial merits of:

1) avoiding unscheduled downtime by identifying in-service components that are either deteriorated or stressed to an extent that their failure may soon be expected .

2) differentiating between in-service parts that truly need replacement and those that are fit for a significant amount of further use.

Liane's firm offers both training and evaluative services in this specialty."
